Well I'm back home.. the psyc dr didn't send me to the funny farm, so I guess I'm ok. I'll know for sure next week. He said he'd call me after he scored the sheets.
I think the only tests I have left to do are the heart tests.. I'm going to call on Monday to see if that's all of if I'm in for even more.
Bought Chris' valentines present on Thursday night.. a Smoker.. its a HUGE one too. We were up until almost midnight putting it together that night too LOL.
Chris "cured" the smoker today. Now we're going to find some good chips for it and maybe fire it up tomorrow and see what we can do with it. YUM.

Results... tests and Stamping Up
I had my sleep study on Tue night. Unfortunately, they decided that I do need a machine. The good thing is they don't think I'll need it for long. They called today to set up a time to bring the machine out, but since they never call the alt number, they left the msg on the home phone and not my cell phone. Soooo I guess I'll call them on Monday, My mom's birthday :)
Tomorrow I'm working a half day. After work I go for my psyc eval. I don't really know what to expect, so a bit nervous. Not of the tests, just of the unknown, know what I mean?
I'm getting excited about my stamping up demo party on the 7th. It should be alot of fun. I get to meet the demo lady, Deb, tomorrow. I've talked to her quite a bit thru email, but haven't gotten to meet her yet. I found her by the SU website and using the "finder" feature.
Well I'm off to bed.. want to read more.. I'm on the last book of the Twilight Series.. wow what a great series.

More tests scheduled...
I was home sick today and the hospital called to schedule more tests.
I'm going tomorrow night for a sleep study. They said my cold shouldn't affect the results.
It's kinda scary how quickly everything is coming together, I just hope the insurance is quick about the approval too.

Day 4 of new diet and a Recipe
This thing is kicking my butt. I'm having a hard time making my brain combine the groupings of foods. It's not much different from weight watchers, which I can do in my sleep. But for some reason I just can't get this. It should be super simple.. should be.. but its not.
I did better this morning with breakfast, so hopefully I'll get all my foods in today.
When the Dr. first handed it to me I thought "Oh crap.. there is no way.. way to small amounts for someone of my size" ok, so I was way wrong. After you really look at it, there is quite a bit of food. My problem is combining them to make recipes and such. And you all KNOW how much I love my recipes LOL The first 2 days I didn't eat half the amount listed, yesterday was a bit better and I did make homemade spaghetti sauce. (I halved the recipe and didn't make the meatballs to go with it)
Weight Watchers Spaghetti with Italian Meatballs
Serving Size : 10
Sauce
1 medium onion -- chopped
2 cans Crushed Tomatoes -- (28 ounce)
1 can tomato sauce -- (16 ounce)
2 cans tomato paste -- (12 ounce)
2 tablespoons sugar (I use splenda)
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon dried oregano
2 bay leaves
1 cup water
Meatballs
4 slices Bread -- dry
1 lb ground beef
2 eggs
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1 dash pepper
1. Cook the onion in hot oil until it is tender (but not brown).
2. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, sugar, salt, pepper, oregano and bay leaves.
3. Simmer for 30 minutes. As the sauce simmers keep an eye on it, if it looks too thick add some water up to one cup.
4. While the sauce is simmering mix together the meatballs.
5. To dry the bread, preheat your oven to it's lowest setting (170 degrees) and when it gets to that temperature, turn it off and place the bread slices in and let the low heat dry them.
6. Remove bread from the oven and place in a mixing bowl.
7. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and line a cookie sheet with sides with foil.
8. Soak the dried bread in water for 2-3 minutes, then squeeze out the moisture.
9. Combine the bread with the rest of the ingredients, mixing well with your hands.
10. Form into small balls (approximately 20).
11. Bake for 15 minutes or until they are cooked through.
12. Remove from the pan and add to the simmering sauce.
13. Cook for 30 minutes longer.
14. Serve over hot spaghetti.

Moving right along...
I called one of the 2 suggested Psychiatrist around 230 today and they already called me back and set up an appointment. YEAH!!! It's for Saturday, Jan 31st. I know.. I was shocked it was for a Saturday too. He seemed really nice and said they work with the bariatric group and gives us about a 50% discount. Which is great since I don't think my insurance is going to cover that part.
